I am on my third day of trying to get this post up.
There are not enough hours in the day. Honestly, to even write this...well let's just say thank god for Sesame Street. I have about 10 minutes right now.
It's busy. With Christmas and the buying and the wrapping and the decorating and well you all know, it's busy.
Kadin is so fantastic I can't even tell you. He is growing so fast and he is so smart. You can talk to Kadin about anything. He can carry a conversation as well as any adult and even better then some I know. heh Kidding.
The other morning he woke up, in our bed of course. And Hasan had gone to work. He woke up and right away gave me a kiss and hug. I said "Oh Kadin let's cuddle for awhile?" He asked me "Mommy do you like kissing or cuddling?" I replied "Cuddling." He responded "Yesss.. that makes sense."
In turn with all this sweetness comes a vocab he also uses for evil. He loves to scream and yell at us - once he fully gets he is not getting his way - "I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU! DON'T TALK TO ME!" It's truly endearing.
Kadin can't tell time yet but he loves to randomly use time references in attempts to get what he wants. "It's quater to eight. Wake up time mommy." or "It's seven fifteen. Time for my cookie." He has a wild imagination which consists of numerous friends. He has names for them all and usually it all sounds the same. "Toby, draga, balmy, tibby..." He introduces them to us a lot but mostly they play together killing and chasing monsters.
Kadin is very loving with Declan and is always excited to see the baby wake up or sitting up. He talks all the time about the things he will teach Declan; like running, reading, ABC's and swords. Very important...the sword fighting don't you know? He tells me he will read to Declan when Declan grows up and they will play together. Its better then I would have imagined.
Ok maybe 5 minutes now...
Declan is also growing. He loves to shout across the room when he is excited. We lost power last night due to a wind storm and a lot of candles were lit. This excited Declan quite a bit and until the crying began, he was a very happy baby yelling across the house.
Now the crying. Something Declan did last night from about 9 pm until 12ish. It was terrible. All caused by gas. And yes we tried all the remedies. None seemed to work. He would have times of quiet and relaxation and then he would start again. Nothing seemed to work only a little walk about and a rock in my arms.
Declan is a gorgeous happy baby but he sure does love to end his day on a low note. :) His eyes are still blue. He is losing hair now but that hair is still dark dark black. He loves his hands and has almost mastered the hand sucking. He will spend 20 minutes at a time with the thumb and Mister Pointer pinched together in an effort to get them to his mouth. Going crossed eyed once they come into view.
He is still sleeping in our room but will move after the holidays. Declan is more of a barker then a crier. He makes these sharp barking sounds when he has gas or is hungry. It only escalates to crying when he gets frustrated with us.
There is another snow storm tonite and its late. I am going to put up some pics now.
These are of our last snow storm. We have had crazy weather. Lots of rain then lots of snow then rain and now another big snow storm.

The things your three year old wants you to put away in the fridge. This is a 1 inch, dried up piece of bagel with cream cheese.

Declan having his first big tub bath and sitting up for mommy.

Hasan unwrapping bday presents.

Kadin being his overly excited self.

We finally got the Christmas tree up.

My boys sure do love to ham it up for the camera.
