No excuse...
That's right I have no excuse for not posting before now. But I do have a lot of good reasons. There is no time. Although Olivia isnt here everyday Kadin has changed in the last two weeks or so and his demeanor has become that of a hyper monkey looking to seek and destroy anything and everything that has been off limits for the last two years. PHEW!
Sleep has become something of a novelty for me. I am a very light sleeper and well our nights havent been that quiet around here is all I'll say. Actually no OK I should say something more then that. The couple downstairs are having a hard time with their baby is all.
Now onto Kadin.
He is right now watching the Rion King (as Kadin calls it) and god bless Disney but if I sit through that movie one more time I will literally die.
So here I sit ready to tell you all the amazing things Kadin is doing.
He sings his ABC's. Yes indeedy. Now he doesn't quite get all the letters yet but he knows the tune and he knows the majority of the letters. He runs around here asking us to sing it with him. He just loves it.
Because of the tune he is also able to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Not all the words but most.
He counts to 10 although it goes something like this for him: one, two, tree, pour, eeit, eeit, sepen, eeigt, nniiine, ten. Oh the joy!
Pictures have not really been taken lately but I am working on a few for the site right now.
We are all ready for Halloween and Hasan wanted Kadin to be a super hero of some sort like Spiderman. But I was right and finding that costume for his size was not easy so we settled for a lion. But damn he looks so cute! I will definitely post pics.
We have some decorations up but the rain here has been real bad and Im not sure they will make it to Halloween.
Kadin received a nice eid gift from his dadi and aba-jan this week and I have pictures. He also got some cute decorations and Halloween treats from nanny and poppy in Newfoundland.
We finally got our wedding date cards and other pics which will hit the mail today I think.
Ok well besdies it being bitterly cold here and Kadin terrorizing us both day and night, all is well.

At first he would not remove the bib....Kadin's new dresser he got the eid.
But then I convinced him.
Kadin is 3'1" now and the doc says he will be over 6 '! Hmmmm I'm not sure where he will get that height! :)

He likes to put vision imparing things on his head and walk around the room. Provides much entertainment...for us all. Uhhhh bucket head!
This hat belongs to Olivia. She wore it up one morning and Kadin loved it. Of course I got this one pic before the batteries died in the camera. Hasan and I were in tears laughing so hard.
Kadin can have some rough mornings depending on the side of the bed he wakes on. This was a rough morning. He fell asleep watching Sesame Street.
Kadin is a very helpful child. He is also brilliant, gorgeous, sweet and extremely smart. He loves to laugh and make us laugh. Kadin is very easy going and we are so lucky and grateful to have this kid.
