So our visit has come to an end and we were all sad to see it happen. Kadin grew very attached to his dadi and aba-jan. So much so that when leaving the airport he was yelling "dadi" "aba jan" in the parking lot.
The visit went very well. I was a bag of nerves beforehand but that was soon laid to rest. Hasan's parents were wonderful and warm and I couldnt ask for a better visit.
We went out and about a lot and visited many places. Kadin was ridiculously spoiled...but thats OK when it comes to grandparents. :)
Hasan and I were also very spoiled with many wonderful gifts for our home and ourselves. The gifts were unexpected but amazing. We thank everyone who sent the beautiful things.
Kadin also wants to thank everyone for the gorgeous birthday gifts he received. He enjoyed wearing and playing with everything...thanks.
So I have many many pictures but I think a few at a time would be good. Here are some of our favorites. Enjoy!
As Kadin was unloading his many many gifts he assigned his aba jan the task of holding eveything.

Spoiling commenced. Can you see the look on his face?? hahaha

The first few days he was still nervous...

.....but he very soon warmed up.

Three generations of Hai men.

These sunglasses were a gift from Kadin's Maham puppo.

Kadin was play doh crazy the whole time dadi and aba jan were here. Have Imentioned that Kadin took to calling his aba jan just "jan" said with a long "a" sound! heh

Kadin was a wrestling fool with his abu and aba jan...and well anyone willing to take a hit really.

Kadin refused to remove his new sneakers once he got them on. Cute outfit eh?

And now for some misc. cuteness...

I like to call these "Who me?" moments. :)

Well we have plenty of pics from Kadin's birthday and it was an awesome day however...today I have no time.
Today we have very very special visitors coming our way. Kadin will be extremely excited to see his dadi and abu-jan. We leave in just a few hours. We may not have time to post while Hasan's parents are here but we will certainly post lots afterwards.
Later.....
In exactly 11 hours and 9 minutes, our beautiful son will turn 2. It's difficult to imagine having to support his head when holding him, burping after feedings, him spitting up on my foot (better than him pooing on Tonia, HAH!). Just the other day he started saying "I love you".
Not one single day goes by that I'm not thankful for having Kadin in my life. Hopefully you have a great day, and enjoy the wonderful gifts from those who love you.
Tomorrow is a big day is this Hai household. Look at that face....
Oh lord...like it was yesterday. :)

Two years pass so quickly...

Sweet sweet face...
