Obviously we have been way too busy to post. All the moving, cleaning, packing....crazy! And you should see my freakin apt...gross. Anyways here are some pics and captions to lookie at.
Play time for Abu and Kadin. They love to rough house together.

"Peek-A-Boo everybody! Can you see how cute I am?"

We had to sorta hold him down for these pics!

Who put this picture up?

Moments like this are my favorite.

Kadin spends a lot of time here between his abu's feet. He loves hanging out there.

Kadin's family back in Ottawa celebrated Eid recently and the two following pictures are of Kadin opening his eidi gift from them! Thanks dadi, abu-jan, Maham and Zahrah!

Kadin adores Daisy. Sometimes too much....but he adores her and she is very patient with him. Can you see in her eyes how much she is enjoying the whole experience!? hehee

We don't see the snow much here but we tried to enjoy it as much as we could. :)

and only because my mom didnt realize it. Does everyone know that the banner above is actually Hasan and Kadin? I took the picture the summer at White Rock beach and it came out perfect for this use.
Did ya know? HUh? Did ya?
Here are pics of my sweet boys. :)

Last night we made the trek to Squamish and the road is...scary. For me at least. Driving into the moutains after dark...is... well.. scary.
But damn it was worth it. We only went to look at one place. All that way for one place. I had a headache, my legs hurt and my jaw is aching today (all brought on by the fear of the trek) but it was worth it.
The place is awesome. Second floor of a duplex. The people downstairs are young, have a baby and a dog!! AND the girl's name is Tanya! WOW! Ok not the best part.
The kitchen is huge. We have a fireplace. The bathroom is only slightly smaller then the one we have now. Its THREE bedrooms all of which have cable outlets. Hello office!!
And now for the nest part THE MASTER BEDROOM HAS ITS OWN BATHROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't remember the last time I was this happy. And its vacant so as soon as the carpets are cleaned we get to move little by little. We could not have asked for better options.
The neighborhood is awesome and we have a balcony which looks right out to the mountains. Oh and a small backyard!!
Oh and Kadin spent the entire time chasing the realtors mini doberman! It was awesome! Pictures soon.
Here's one to gaze upon....

My time has flown by and it continues to do so at a rate too fast for me. Mom and dad have returned to Newf and some of our life has gotten back on track. However we have recently found out that Hasan is being transferred by his company and therefore we are moving to www.squamish.ca.
We are actually excited about it. It is so beautiful there and it is an amazing opportunity for Hasan as well. Congrats to my baby who rocked the interview to get exactly what he wanted! :)
We are very slowly packing and by that I mean I have packed one box. We went apartment hunting yesterday and were completely unsuccessful. Not a lot available out there and well then there is the whole dog thing. We got a letter from the current building manager so that should help. Daisy is such an old soul now. We are hoping to convince people anyways.
We have one apartment to look at today and then that's it. MmHmmm that's it. Now the paper for this little town only comes out once a week on Fridays so we have to wait till then to look again. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
I have been bad with emails lately with so much going on so if you read this site and you love me...you will forgive me. I will get to more emails as soon as I can. :)
Till then enjoy this pic of Kadin the Sears catalog model. :)

PS - To all those Newfie haters brewing up out there over the whole flag thing.....remember to base your opinions and views upon fact, not what the papers and media have fed you over the years. If we have learned anything in this time of war, hatred and destruction we should know to not always trust that the media is showing and telling us everything. So before you laugh, snicker and say the only good thing to come out of Newfoundland was Rick Mercer and Mary Walsh, guess again. Educate yourself and F!ck Off! By fighting for what is ours we are WANTING to support ourselves and stop taking federal hand outs. Hand outs that always seem to come back and slap us in the face. Hand outs we only need because federal Canadians continue to rape us of our resources.
And please to the woman who wrote the Globe and Mail and asked us to look at the people who work the small jobs, the immigrants scrambling to find their foot hold and are so proudly living their canadian lives...this is what we have been doing for years for this country. Working the shit jobs that pompous asses like you wouldnt even dream of going near. Don't tell US about working what needs to be worked to support ourselves, we have been too busy working what you won't to support people like you and this country.
Nanny and poppy are gone home. Poppy talked a lot about sliding in the snow and stuff while they were here. No such luck. Nanny and poppy went back yesterday and today...SNOW! See below.
As well we are moving to Squamish. More later.

So far for us, 2005 has not been a year of idleness! Kadin and I had gone to bed relatively early in the wee hours of New Years day (around 1:30 AM, he'd woken up about 20 minutes before) as I had volunteered to be The One to get up with him in the morning while everyone else got a bit of extra sleep. It was only fair, since his nanny and poppy had volunteered to be The One and The Other One (respectively) the night before, letting Tonia and I sleep in to some grotesquely late hour of like...9 or 10. TEN O'CLOCK!

Once everyone was finally awake and properly dosed with their own favourite painkillers, the official Preparation Of The Ham began. It was a big ham. It was a nice ham. Later in the story, it even became a delicious ham for everyone who partook. I opted for hamBURGERS for my induction into 2005.
But back to the Preparation Of The Ham. Actually, there isn't much to say. It just boils for a few hours then cooks for a while, then Sharon and Tonia did some stuff to it while I watched Kadin. Exciting eh? So to break up the day, we all went to the park in the early afternoon and had a grand time with Kadin. The following pictures tell a better story than I possibly could.

On Sunday, we all went to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. It was a great time, as Kadin had a wonderful time on the bridges and trails, and Tonia finally got to live like an Ewok while walking the bridges in the Treetop Adventures portion.

Fun times were had by all. I'll explain Kadin's nose-picking tomorrow.
